Parrot Education & Adoption Center

On June 15, 2002, the Alaska Chapter of the Parrot Education & Adoption Center was launched. The intitial meeting was productive and everyone was polite and attentive as Executive Director, Bonnie Kenk, explained what PEAC is, and what PEAC is not. Well, everyone was polite and attentive except for Garry Wallan, but he's special.

The day after the inauguration of PEAC in Alaska, Karen Webster and Garry Wallan took Bonnie Kenk on the "26 Glacier Cruise" out of Whittier, Alaska. The weather was uncharacteristically sunny and warm, which means that the "Alaskans for Global Warming" group is actually making progress!
