It was Spring Break in Anchorage, and Sand Lake Elementary School provided structured, educational day care for grade school students. An educational theme of the week was "animals" and many different groups from Anchorage brought animals to the school, including the Anchorage chapter of PEAC (and it was a trip back in time for Managing Director Karen Webster who went to Sand Lake Elementary as a student a few short years ago).
